Gold color

I have created some fondant appliques and molds that I need to color in a very shiny and deep gold color (like the italian jewelry) for an indian wedding.  Please I need suggestions in what color or mix of colors to use.  I have been trying to get to the right color to no avail.  I will appreciate your suggestions.

Wow, can I really do this?

So, I am kind of new at all this....I read blogs all the time, mostly about baking and/or cake decorating. Bear with me, as I may not post every day, but I will post as I do different projects. If I find something that turns out to… Continue

My 1st Travel "Disaster"

I had my first travel "disaster" with a cake this past weekend, and I was delivering a very large and heavy wedding cake. As for the construction damage, there was none. My brain did tell me to use extra reinforcements in this cake. It had both PVC & dowel rods in it. I did this…

My youngest just graduated high school about a month ago and is getting ready to leave for college. I am so excited for him, and my… Continue
