Icing Sheets

Icing Sheets in the Winter! In the winter time, as it gets colder, any brand of icing sheet tends to dry out.  Some brands dry out quicker than others.  Think about it, you have a thin layer of icing on a piece of paper.  It is the moisture that adheres it to the backing or paper and the moisture also keeps the icing sheet plyable.  In the dryer times of year or even dryer climates, the moisture begins to evaporate which can cause several problems. Angry Birds and Cakes

I just want to share a few links to some Angry Birds cakes that I found while searching cakes here at work.  I'm simply amazed at both how popular and how good the cakes look.  Personally, I couldn't bake a square chocolate cake, so I wouldn't know how difficult is to make an Angry Birds cake; but - to me at least - most of the Angry Birds cakes out there look amazing!

Triple Chocolate Cappuccino Sour Cream Pound Cake

Sift together and set aside:

3 cups of cake flour

1/4 tsp. baking soda

1/4 tsp. salt

1/2 cup good quality dry cocoa (I used Hershey's)

Bring to room temperature:

6 eggs that have been separated

1 cup sour cream

1 cup real sweet cream butter
