Homemade marzipan might cost a little to make, but with this recipe, you will get a huge amount of dough to work with for filling candies, covering a cake, or making figures. My family loves marzipan so much that I notice that the batch just keeps getting smaller and smaller because there are little sneaky hands taking lumps out of my batch before I can even make it into…

Hello! My first blog. I am a newbie home baker. Why do cupcake liners crimp up in the muffin pan after you fill with the batter. What can I do? I think it looks tacky. I found some red and green foil ones by Reynolds today. Pretty and won't have that problem. But, I have so many that I bought when…

Keep kneading and heating till its smooth, and it doesn't feel grainy. It does get smooth with lots of heating and kneading . If you wish, you can mix the cheese cake mix with a little water, mix till smooth and…

"What theme are we going to do?" I asked Nina, my sister.
"She wants the three little pigs. It's her favorite story," Nina said. "Mick is making a playhouse that looks like all three of the little pigs' houses. Do you think…
