looking to start my at home sweet treat and cake decorating

I have always loved cooking and baking. Now that i am older and i would like to start a at home shop. I am taking the Wilton classes at the local craft store. I love it.

I am looking for any advise any one can give me.

Will wright more later......

Chocolate cupe Recipe

The chocolate cup,Melt the chocolate and apply chocolate with brush in the small cupcake sheet and keep in the frig.when chocolate is set ,again apply chocolate melted and keep in the frig.We have to this works three times .To make sure your chocolate is set, then tear the sheet. Rose cookies Recipe

 INGREDIENTS for pastry

110gm butter

240gm purpose flour

1/2 cup plain yogurt

1 teaspoon baking powder

2 egg yolks

1/2 teaspoon active dry yeast

5 tablespoons warm water

1 teaspoon sugar

1/8 teaspoon salt

Ingredients for filling

1 cup walnut or almond or pistachio as you like

1 teaspoon ground cardamom. If there is not you can use cinnamon

2 tablespoons honey

Mix all filling ingredients…

New Here

I am new to this site, and just wanted to give a quick introduction. I am a mom to 4 wonderful children. Two boys, 9 and almost 7; and two girls, 3 and almost 5. I really love to bake and try new things. I have always made my kids birthday cakes, and I was getting bored with the same old cakes. Spongebob cake

Recently a friend asked for a full sheet cake in the shape of spongebob. I almost fainted, because it sounded a bit intimidating, however, I hate saying no, So I agreed. I made the cakes, then I proceeded to whip Up the pastry pride to fill in the middle w/ strawberries. Once that was completed I slid the layers together ( nerve racking) then I sculpted ..... I started doing this just as a simple hobby . Now making desserts is a need of mine. I love creating things. So I'm going to give a run down of all my cake making endeavors. The ups and downs. So far ive done about 6 fondont cakes . Aaand I looove it!!!
