This is a wedding cake I made for a friend. I used the Cameo for all of the cut decorations. The bottom tier has 3 rows of ruffles. I cut the scalloped ruffles from gum paste. All of the flowers were made from gum paste and the petals and leaves were cut out using the Cameo. The Damask designs and flowers covering the cake were cut out using Icing Image…

I have always loved cooking and baking. Now that i am older and i would like to start a at home shop. I am taking the Wilton classes at the local craft store. I love it.

I am looking for any advise any one can give me.

 INGREDIENTS for pastry

110gm butter

240gm purpose flour

1/2 cup plain yogurt

1 teaspoon baking powder

2 egg yolks

1/2 teaspoon active dry yeast

5 tablespoons warm water

1 teaspoon sugar

1/8 teaspoon salt

Ingredients for filling

1 cup walnut or almond or pistachio as you like

1 teaspoon ground cardamom. If there is not you can use cinnamon

2 tablespoons honey

Mix all filling ingredients…
