How do you advertise or promote your classes?

Facebook ads are a great way to advertise. They are very inexpensive and you can specify to promote to individuals with specific interest ( ie. Cake decorating) as well as specific regions. I highly recommend it!

I do demo's at the location where the classes are. Cupcake demos or 8inch two layer cake are good. Facebook

Lots of demos, lots of signs up in the store, and even on Craig's list.

What category do you use for Craig's list. Could not find anyone for cake decorating under lessons or classes.

I put it under classes.  I don't have one in right now.....it expired.  Thanks for the reminder.   I think (though I am not sure)  that you have to look on Craig's list under the city where it was posted.   I also have a website I built for my cake students.  I use facebook too, and have a closed, private group for my students and former students to ask questions, post pictures, etc..

I print my schedule and post it around the store.  I also make take-it flyers and leave them next to the big monthly calendar.  

How do you promote?
