WILTON INSTRUCTOR/DECORATOR

I work a fulltime job. Teach cake decorating at night and on weekends. Love to inspire people to do things they haven't tackled and think out the box. Just because you are not on TV does not mean you cannot do what they do in the world of CAKES!!! Anything is possible. A cake starts with a good taste first otherwise the art on the outside does not matter. I love to share my passion and I love my STUDENTS and the lifetime friendships that I make out of them!!

From what I hear, the general consensus is that they are too expensive to buy when people don't really like them all that much in the first place. As long as they keep making my Cake Release and Bake Even Strips, then I'll be okay! My faves!

Good thing I have a full time job as well. The concept behind the sugar sheets is a good one, but I think most people have started using the accessories with fondant or gum paste instead of the sugar sheets, although some of the patterned sheets are nice. I am a fondant/gum paste fan myself!

Of course, I had to go out and buy just about everything when they came out with the new line of gum paste accessories, but it never hurts to have multiples, right? It's so cool to learn some new tips and techniques from the uber-cakers that work at Wilton. :)

I consider myself very lucky to live so close to the Wilton School and headquarters. I have only been teaching since January and I love it. I have made so many caking buddies.
