I am so upset! I just finished my valentine cake and went outside to have a break... when i came back in I found my 70lb boxer having a little cake!! UGH! I hadnt even taken any pics and when I went to grab the camera to get a pic of my dog, the batteries were dead. It is really hard to be upset because he had a half a heart hanging out of his mouth... so cute!!!

My idiotic dog ate an entire birthday cake on me. Aren't kids enough work? Don't you wonder why we do this to ourselves and add pets into the mix?

Ohh lordie... I saw finishing up this wedding cake for delivery tonight and my goofy Irish Setter tried to take a big bit out of it.. Bout had a fit..LOL

I'm still freaking out about my wedding cake. I couldn't sleep at ALL last night because I need to start doing the prep work so I got up and started making detailed lists so I don't forget anything. Does anyone know offhand about how many pounds of fondant I'll need to do three tier - 14", 10" & 6"? Each batch of my MMF makes about 2 lbs. I'm thinking I'll do three batches because I also want to put it on the cake board and there will be fondant details and beads. Will I have enough do you think? I always seem to make more than I need. (Of course, then I have practice material.)

Oh Sheesh, I just realized I never introduced myself on here.

Hi! I'm Eileen and I'm a SAHM in Wisconsin of 3 kids - 2 school age and 1 toddler. About a year ago I dusted off the stuff I bought when I took a couple Wilton classes so I could do my little guy's 1st birthday cake. The results got raves from all our friends and they started asking if I'd make THEIR kids' cakes. I'd do one or two here and there, but when I started posting pictures on Facebook, all the sudden I found myself getting a lot MORE requests and now it's become a part-time hobby that gives me a little mad money.
