I'm curious to know your experiences with gas ovens or electric ovens when it comes to baking your cakes better. Right now, I have an electric oven which came with my house when we purchased it. I find that my cakes are not as moist and the tops crack more. My mom as a gas oven that works really well with my cakes. I was interested in purchasing a gas oven, but then I read online that it's better to bake in an electric oven because there is more even heat. Is it just that I have a bad electric oven?
What have your experiences been, and which do you prefer/recommend and why?
