CANDY CANES ?????????????????????
JUST WONDERING HAS ANY 1 EVER TRYED TO USE CANDY CANES IN there isomalt gun's , since there are so many flavors and colors ????

i got a glue gun from tractor supplys , it works the same as the isomalt gun ! i wanted to see if it wuld work ! and it duz , for $5. to try its what i'l use till i get my isomalt gun lol !

How do you get the isomalt stick out of your glue gun if you want to change colors?

it just pulls out , only the tip melts
, so pull it out , empty the gun and its ready for nex color !

Thanks Gail, I haven't been able to get the isomalt gun either. I've been wondering if the glue gun would work and have read conflicting reports. We have a tractor supply in the area i'm going to try that when we get power again. What kind of glue gun is it?

I use a glue gun, and it works really well. BUT you have to be very careful, if let it sit with the isomalt sticks in it for too long, the isomalt can come out the other side and burn you. Never tried candy canes, would love to hear what happens.

mine only has 1 temp ! sorry , it was experiment ! to see if it would work so now i know i may purchase another 1 with temp control !

Mine is just a cheapy with only 1 temp (high heat).
