You never have to "cringe" when someone asks you if your cake prices are...quote "high". Tell them that Walmart, grocery stores cakes are made, frozen, then shipped to the store. And bakeries just pump them out and don't use high quality ingredients.

I always get several quotes from bakeries/online decorators for prices. But I do know Tara every market is differnt. I live in Burlington, Ont. Slightly different from Fredricton for sure. You can only charge what your particylar market can bear. So you have to do your homework and check around. I have looked at your work, and it is excellent. It may take you awhile to establish a customer base, but when you do, word of mouth will spread.
