Cupcakes a la Sandra!
Our friend and colleague Sandra Lossiseroni makes such beautiful cupcakes and I mentioned on Facebook that it was a sad thought that I would never get to eat one of her cakes (she being in Florida and me being in the UK!). So she told me I would have to make my own! Well here we are - my attempt at Sandra's style. Although I am reasonably happy with them, I don't think Royal Romance cakes has much to worry about from me!
They took ages to make all the embellishments - everything is edible. All are fondant except for the flowers and leaves which are petal paste.

Sandra I think after the blue air in the kitchen this afternoon when things just weren't going my way, I think self preservation will kick in with him. No way will he encourage me to cake more than I do!!

What a guy Gail! I think he should get his pops anyway he wants them for being such a sweetie.
It's my 60th coming up 10 days - how can I tell Mick I'd rather have cake stuff than a new computer? He thinks I'm potty enough as it is................
by the way Sandra - I see we are both Pisces! Does that account for this affinity we seem to have?
