First attempt at the flooding technique with royal icing. It kind of worked, but needs practice. I think my flooding royal should have been a little runnier, it was setting before I could fill evenly.

Lovely this was how I was how i was going do mine but decided to take the quick easy route of cutting out fondant and sticking it on - anything for a easy life

they look good to me , I have never did any like this , I think your rite with the icing , the outline , is thicker than the flooding icing , its so hard to get the recipes the same ea time we make them due to the moisture in the air !
Thanks Gail - bit of a messy job, but I learnt lots from the exercise. I found myself rushing at the end as we were suddenly asked to have Daisy overnight and I was in no way prepared for that lol!
