I am so glad I am doing a practice run of my purse cake. I am following a video tutorial (using my own pattern), and that doesn't seem to be the problem. I used my chocolate cake recipe and have…Continue

I concur Sandra.... A Circus Cake with Victorian flare!!!!
YES I CAN SEE IT NOW ! CLOWNS ,BALLONS ALL KINDS OF CIRCUS FLAGS , WITH HER STYLE , THATS GOING TO BE AWSOME ,
lol, well, Sandra, we really put you on the spot now, haven't we?! We will be waiting.......and I know it will be worth the wait.
Great news Magdalena - children are so resilient are they? Bet that fairy castle is going to be one of the best you have ever done. And I see no reason why you shouldn't attempt a circus themed cake - you're bound to do it amazingly!
Thank you Katy, for the vote of confidence, but it is Sandra I. Vazquez Lossiseroni who is doing the circus cake. I am just doing a very plain old fashioned toolbox. That is for the 16th. but this week I'm on the castle and a bee cake.I should actually tell you all how sweet the bee idea is. The ladies husband's nickname is Buzz, it's her birthday but he is abroad, so he got a friend of hers to organize a surprise party for her. He insisted on a bee cake and wanted a note to be delivered with it. It reads something like this: " I know I can't be with you on your birthday so I surrounded you with people who also love you. I want you to have a wonderful birthday and to know I love you very much. Happy birthday, your Buzz. Isn't that sweet?
lol Magdalena - I know haha. I was trying to do too much catching up at once and got all confused! (Senior moment....). I've been away from emails for a couple of days and you all have been so busy........ I love the Bee thing, what a great idea from him and what a super guy.
Sandra I agree with everyone. You can do it. Go girl! Do not let anything ever hold you back. You have beautiful flair and style in your creations and even if it is a circus cake it can also have that. Can't wait to see it!
Thank you Magdalena, and YES, it is such a sweet note going with the Bee Cake for Buzz. (it sound all so funny)
