Ck it looks like you are our 400th!!! However it doesn't reflect that in the total here on the site. Which leaves me to believe that the visual compacity but other may still join. Also making us the first group to reach this milestone since the site was formed. I will check to be sure but I'm very excited. Welcome Ck and we look forward to interacting with you here at the "Self Taught Decorators Club" :).

Daisy, did you ask Theresa about our club having our own cake contest? If you need another judge, I will gladly bow out on the decorating part and help you judge. I can also help with prizes if that becomes a little pricey.

Hello everyone, I just joined the site, I got into cake decorating a little over a year ago, and I'm trying to learn everything I can so one day I can have my own shop. I am entirely self taught, still in the beginners stage, and I have so much to learn, so any tips, insight, critique will be very welcomed. In a couple of weeks, I'm going to make a toy story cake and I will be making all the characters out of fondant and gumpaste. And I would really, really appreciate any tips. I will be making; woody, buzz, the cowgirl, the horse, and the little green alien. Thanks :)

I must say my business is picking up but I am in need for help.  I get so confussed on how to price everything. Can someone tell me how you do it? Is there a software program anything out there?
