hello everyone.....finally had my rotator cuff surgery on 7/2. nasty stuff - there was more damage than anticipated and it's been a rough few weeks. please, my friends - watch your shoulders!! don't learn the hard way.....it stinks.......

how often are you going to physical therapy? and have they given you an expected time frame that you should be back to your normal?

Joann, I honestly worry about my right shoulder more than I do my wrists :/ hope you're back to 100% soon! I've been working all week on my foods for a local fair competition. I'm entering a bread, a cake (of course), and a cookie. Every year it's a different theme. This year the flavors are caramel, mocha or toffee. I'm going to be heading to deliver my goodies here in an hour. Fingers crossed! This cake lady never seems to win in the cake division, but I've won in the cookie division 3 times! Lol! Career change??? Lolol!

thanks for the well wishes everyone, and good luck Melanie! that would be a blast to do - I haven't had that opportunity either. I haven't started pt yet - go back to the surgeon for my next apt on august 6th, and will hopefully begin therapy after that. until then, I get to wear the sling and do a whole lot of nothing - can't even drive. feel like I am about to lose my mind!! if the therapy goes well, I could be back to baking in about 6 months, but it could take up to a year. yikes. be careful with your shoulder Melanie!!!!
