I love this show because it's the first cake show that really focuses on showing the techniques and gives us all a chance to learn something new.

If anyone finds a Fabulous Cakes image to stick in here, let me know. I just don't get it why there's so little info about the show on the net.

i agree Teresa, my boyfriend watched this show with me last night and when it started he asked me what was special about this show, and thats exactly what i told him. its a more realistic perspective on the whole thing, and to see how they do thing in actual shops, with those different techniques. To see the whole process as they do it is great.
If i find the full episodes on hulu i think i might save them so i can watch them again sometime =-)

So happy they stated prices again last show!

I hope this show continues. I love it so far. I was disappointed the week they didn't state the prices of the cakes. I like the narrator telling us what is being done, and they aren't showing all the other drama in the shop then what is going on with the cakes.

I agree with you Theresa. I'm tired of the drama too, that is one reason I stopped watching Cake Boss, plus to me it seems like that show has become scripted over time...like when his sister threw the cake on the floor to get his attention, and everyone in the bakery had to act like they were surprised.... I love that Fabulous Cakes focuses on the cakes and the techniques. I wish more shows would go that route. Of course that doesn't make for great TV and only us cakers want to watch that.

I enjoy this show too! I have been so busy that I just don't watch much TV anymore but I have caught a few episodes and I do like it. There is a lot of Drama on some of the shows and that does not do much for me at all... I try to live in a drama free zone!!! HA who am I kidding ... I work at a middle school!!! I do like that the prices are advertised too... makes people realize the value of the work.

Anyone have any clue when it's coming on again? Last week was a repeat and now the tv schedule on TLC is totally blank for this show.

Hi, new to the site and group. I think they only filmed 4 episodes of this show..don't no why? maybe funding? I liked it better then some of the others, more technique, less cake throwing. Another show is Amazing Cakes, I was in Delaware when I saw that..Good too!

Someone I know was being interview for the show recently, so I wouldn't count the show out. I'm seeing what I can find out.
