Yes Tracy, I go to DIY Icing in Birmingham. I used to go to Sugar Rose in Wednesfield but the owner sold it and the new owner doesn't seem to know much.

Covapaste has got to be the best for covering cakes, nothing I've tried has come close to it's quality. If I'm making a cake covered in dark sugarpaste I will buy Regal Ice ready coloured but if it's pale or I can't buy the shade I need, I'll colour it myself.

Try making your own I did, it takes a little time but they turned out fine. Use gum paste or fondant and make tiny ball shapes. When they are dry,put into a shallow box, I used a takeaway box, and spray with pearl spray, these are white pearl, I don't know if you can buy ivory spray.

Hi All I have a friend who is currently in central London on business. Could you recommend any good cake supplies stores in central London as she offered to get a few items for me upon her return back home

Has anyone got the FMM 9mm bead cutter that can tell me where I am going wrong? I've followed the instructions but the beads still come out with a line of past on the top and bottom, not smooth like beads should be. I've trimmed them in the mould and then closed the mould again and trimmed a second time but still no success. I've tried using less sugarpaste, more sugarpaste but to no avail. It's quicker to make them all by hand. I need to make a 3 tier cake with lots of beads on it and thought this would be the easiest way but i was wrong. Are the silicone moulds any better?
