How are you looking to use it, like an edible image or "loose"?
I've attached it as book pages with writing done in food coloring but haven't yet attempted adhering a piece smoothly to the surface.
Will be curious to see what other's have to suggest.
Like an edible image
hmm, not sure then. Maybe try on a small "sample" piece not on the final product and see if you have extra sheets of the edible paper. I know it will attach, just not 100% certain if it will wrinkle or anything.
Might have to try it myself because you've piqued my curiosity and would come in handy down the road I'm sure :)
I'm really thinking though that you should be able to do it, they make "cake tattoos" and that's all they are if I'm not mistaken. Maybe see if you can ferret out some info on other sites too ;)
Hmm, didn't the last Cake Boss show with Buddy do edible paper on top of fondant for Oprah's celebration? He did all of the magazine's cover pages. I might be wrong but I though that is what he did. I hope someone else saw the show to either verify or correct me. Anyone??? Please.

OMG!!! you are right he did. If only I can remember what was used as an adhesive
All of my photo cakes are edible paper (icing sheets) put onto fondant covered cakes. Just fix it on with water brushed on with a pastry brush. It works best if the edible image has been put in the freezer for about 3 minutes, you can handle it better and it comes away from the backing plastic much easier.
Reaching out to Terri Happe, did you see the last show and can you remember or do you know?

Thanks Jackie!
Oh great Jackie! You knew what to do!!!!
I just went onto Chat and asked for help. I didn't know you answered so my apologies to you, Jackie! When I realized that you answered, I went back to chat and announced that you did!
Sincerely,
Sher

Cool to know, I use a different edible paper myself. I use rice paper so there's no backing to remove. Primarily requires water or piping gel thinned out as adhesive.
Good luck with your projects all :)
If you want the page like is lifting from the book do a page in 50/50 fondant gumpaste and let it dry well with a corner lifted like it was being turned, then use som water to add the edible paper. Moist is better than too wet..

If I glue the edible paper to fondant/gumpaste, should I keep it in the refrigerator? how long it last?

Edna, I love your work!!
