Hi guys,

I'm looking for a really good peony tutorial. Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance,

Thank you Susan...will view them when I get home (restrictions at work...nothing will open...:( )

Thank you for asking.  I'm hoping more people may post more.  I love tutorials, especially flowers or stringwork.  Hope you find one that works for you. :)

Thanks Teneisha!  Have a great day,

Susan

I used the one on the cakeerator....easy to follow, and mine turned out pretty well.

Oh, I actually found a tutorial I used. This plus the cakerator was helpful. I had one to by Buddy Valastro before he was The Cake Boss, but couldn't find it. I didn't have peony cutters. I have buscuit cutters, and I used those. And for the center I didn't have styrofoam, I used a lollyop.

Have fun no matter which tutorial you use. Post pictures

Thank you June...thank you for the lollipop tip!!!...I can't find styrofoam balls anywhere!!

I plan on having fun with this one...:) Will def. post pics :)

Sorry Linda the site didn't come up???? But if you type in the blogspot name, it does.

Yes Teneisha, whenever I am doing a large flower, I always use the lollipops...works great. And it already has a built in holder/stick, which is pretty strong.  Problem is hiding them from the family, as mine tend to "steal" them!!! I eventually found round S balls at Micheal's. But I have a old 6" round S base, and I used a small jigger ( used for measuring booze, which I never use it for ) to cut out round balls with that. But my lollipop is the easiest & fac.
