What do I need to make a cake looking like this? Pic attached. :)

I have no experience when it comes to cakes like this. That construction which holds the cake is cake divider or stand? I will make 3 tiers instead of two. What do I need? Also, how do you transport it? I am afraid I will ruin in my car.

Thanks for advices.  :)

Okay, first of all take a deep breath in!!  You can do this!!  This is a very beautiful cake :)   It looks like they used buttercream icing, so that will be easier than trying to do fondant for your first time!  The red bow and ribbon does look like fondant thought.  Looks like they also used edible pearls on the sides.   To me this looks like a cake divider but I could be wrong.  I'm just on my break at work but I will write back later today so I can write more on how I would make this cake :)    Here's a great recipe and tutorial for fondant if you've never made it before... yummy!   http://www.easy-cake-decorating.com/fondant.html

I've never seen a cake structure with the legs so close together so this may be a "homemade" structure.  It appears to be dowel rods but they have to be attached to the upper cake plate otherwise the cake will not be secure enough to stack.  If you don't necessary care if the legs are further out you can go with the SPS system or any other stacking system, just make sure your columns are tall enough to get the space desired.  Take a look at this for SPS information - http://www.cakeswebake.com/forum/topics/sps-single-plate-separator

One more thing -- never, ever transport a cake that is stacked with space in between the layers.  It just isn't stable enough to handle the bumps and turns.  You have to stack it at the venue.

It looks like square separator  plates and pillars.  And definitely transport separately and assemble on site.

The white pillars look like the Stree Free Supports that are available from stressfreecakes.com   They are pricey but I love them.  To make sure they are returned, I put a hefty deposit on them.  I hope this isn't too late to help you.
