Hi Sherrie, we have a few discussions in the forum about this which would be helpful. You charge according to the number of servings. The price per serving will depend on a number of factors. Is the cake done in buttercream or fondant, is it hand painted, are there a lot of gum paste decorations? The more work involved, the higher the cost/serving with buttercream being the least expensive. Then you must find out what the going rate is in your area. I'm in NY, so everything is much more expensive here, so I can't tell you how much you can get per slice where you live. If you find out what local bakeries are charging, you should get a better idea. The other thing you can do is add up all your costs and triple it.
