I think most of the big cake supply sites carry the drums -cakesupplies4u, A&H, Glogalsugarart, paper mart, so any of those might be willing to put together a bundle for you.

This is great!   I work so I miss most of the deals but today was my last day at school for the summer so maybe I will catch a few deals now!  Saw the one today but do not need any of the items listed so will keep watching!  I am not buying too much this summer because I am having my second knee replacement done in August and our son's wedding is the end of July so not doing many cakes this summer.  But will keep watching... you never know when you REALLY NEED something!!!!   Like I really NEED any more cake toys!!! :-)

Question: I just received your email about the fondant deal beginning tomorrow at 6 p.m. EST.  How long/late do these deals run?  6 EST is working hours for those in CST, and certainly for those of us PST.  So for the most part, you can only take advantage of this if you live in the East.  Which is fine, I'd just like to know.

 

The way the email reads, if we are not online at exactly 6, we are out of luck.  Can we get more specifics - or is this specified somewhere already?

This week I am in need of a couple 5 lb buckets of white Satin Ice fondant.  Other than that, I am not doing many cakes this summer between our son's wedding and my knee surgery.  So just trying to keep up on all the latest stuff but not buying many supplies.

That didn't answer my question.  By your answer, I think the sale goes on until the item runs out?  Is this correct.  I asked how long are they on sale for - what time does the sale cut off.    One person posted saying she never gets home in time to take advantage of the sale but now that it's summer she might (school teacher).  So, this lead me to believe it's a timing issue - not a quantity issue.  A straight answer would make me smile.  Thanks!! ;-)

The Canon Edible Image printer would be nice.  Molds would also be very nice.  There are molds for shoes, purses, babies, people, etc., and in complete sets.  For example:  I have seen shoe molds but they don't include the forms for drying/shaping.  So I would say complete molds.  

 

Theresa ~ thank you for the deals you have offered so far.  People should take advantage of them when posted thru Cakes We Bake as they will not find them better anywhere else.

This particular deal will last a couple of days. you should be able to take advantage if you are interested.

Hi Dawn, we'd love to have an unlimited quantity of whatever we offer, but we have to run with whatever each supplier/manufacturer is willing to do. If we post a fixed number available, then that's all there is. If not, then the offer runs until the manufacturer/supplier tells us to stop it. We rely on their feedback to make that determination.

Hi Theresa,

 

It would be nice to see more embossers. Impression mats, material for gelatin molding and Luster, Petal and Disco Dust are also areas of interest.

I'd love to see some rose cutters and impression molds for the petals.  Deals on bulk fondant would be outstanding as well.
