My favorite is Marshmellow fondant Pamela, it is easy so make, colour, and to work with. I so prefer the taste of the MMF and the chocolate one is sooo good.
I am sure you will get much more input on this, so that you can make your final decision.
I would say give MMF a try, for it is very inexpensive to make and then you will know or sure if this is the way you want to go.
Good luck with whatever you choose.
I agree with Sharon.
My favorite fondant is the great tasting Marshmallow homemade stuff. It is easy to work with in my opinion, the chocolate recipe to me tastes very similar to a tootsie roll - but soft. And of course, non-chocolate can be any flavor and color.
If you do a search in the forums and recipe area, I'm sure there is a lot more conversation for you to read and evaluate which way you want to go.
Have fun.
You'll find there isn't really a consensus on any subject. Everyone has there preferences, you'll have to take some suggestions and try both styles out to see what works for you.
I don't really care for the taste of the marshmallow fondant. I make my own in the classic style.

Thanks for your responce everyone has thier own difference and different opinion.....i will definitely try both....thanks a lot
I used to make MMF, but found that it is a bit heavy (and greasy) and pulled down my crisp edges as well as stetching and creating bulging in odd places.
I now use Satin Ice, it is much easier to work with, rolls thinner without a lot of air bubbles.
Well worth the price because time is money, ya know!
