Have you tried one of those from the supermarket? YUK!  Pricing is always so tricky...so many factors in play.  I used to work for Cookies by Design and they charge $29.99 for a pan cookie.  I think that's one of their more reasonably priced items.   We sold a lot of them at that price.  You may not be able to get that much where  you live.   You have to make it worth your time...$8.00 isn't worth your time!  That wouldn't cover one hour of labor.  I think I would charge $2$ or $25 dollars for one.  I charge $1 a piece for my chocolate chip cookies and it takes 15 to fill a pan. Then I would charge $10.00 to decorate it.  I know that's not a very scientific approach to pricing but it sounds about right to me.

Just an fyi...my local supermarkets sell large message cookies for 8.00....
I was thinking of asking for 10.00 for the cookie and 1.50 a pop or go with 1 doz pops....and see if I make a special price ..........I have never made something to charge.........
Hi,we made these cookies at the bakery. Trimmed the edge with buttercream. Sold for 9.99 but I live in eastern Canada.
This is just my opinion, but by the time I bake and decorate a pan cookie, $8 or$9 may be enough to cover the cost of the ingredients but it certainly doesn't pay for my time.
