I made a batch macarons! all was going well , till I had taken them from the oven , they all cracked  while baking , they taste yummy , !; (( what happened ?

Maybe you didn't rest them long enough before you baked them Gail? 20 - 40 mins in a cool, dry place so they form a slight skin, which will stop them cracking.

Possibly too much air in the mix - rap your baking sheet firmly on the surface before putting them in the oven to knock the excess out.

oh ! that's it ! I rested them for 15 min ! like the stupid book said to , ! wow , that was a pricey lesson ! thank you Katy ! when the next time comes i'll have that in my book ;xxx

I am sure it will but it will be a while b4 I make them again , it was $16. for 16,oz of almond flour ! and you have to use 2 &3/4 cups !!
