Need ideas/suggestions for a chocolate crust on a cheesecake

Hi!  I'm kinda stumped and was hoping you could give me some ideas on my problem.  I received an order for a plain NY style cheesecake but they want a chocoloate crust instead of the traditional graham cracker crust... any ideas?  I'm just thinking how I can do this if I have to bake the cheesecake?  This is an order for next friday morning... so any suggestions are SUPER GREATLY APPRECIATED!!!

Thanks

Gloria

I have actually used crushed Oreo cookies as a crust. If you pulse them in a food processor, the shortening and sugar in the filling acts as a binder and it holds together well. Make sure you put the springform pan on a cookie sheet when baking though, just in case.
You can also use crushed chocolate wafer cookies like the Nilla vanilla wafers...use 1 1/2 cups crushed and 1/4 cup melted butter and 2 tbsp granulated sugar...mix together and pat in the pan going about an inch up the sides...bake at 350 degrees F for about 10 minutes then cool before you fill with the batter.
Use Famous Amos chocolate wafer cookies the same way you would use the Graham crackers.

Yup, I'm a chocolate wafer girl too.
Thank you all for the great ideas! I was thinking of using a chocolate cookie, I just wasn't sure how it would work, but I will try the chocolate wafer crust! I'll post and let you know how they like it!
I've read where some people use prepared brownies that they pulse up in the food processor...
Oooh crushed brownies sounds good too!
Let the brownies dry out a little...if you put gooey brownies in the food processor you will get mud :D

I wanted to thank everyone for the great ideas... I ended using chocolate graham crackers (i know..) crushed, with the melted butter and pressed them into the bottom of the pan... THEN I placed a layer of chocolate melts ontop of that and then poured in the cheesecake. It was a hit! I made two... a test run and the one for the order... and both were a huge sucess! Here are some pics of the final product...
I saw in the grocery store chocolate graham crackers. They were with the other kinds (honey, cinnamon) etc. I'd just do the same butter, sugar ratio, press and bake.

If you can't locate the chocolate graham crackers, you may look for either a chocolate cookie that would be similar (not any with frosting obviously), but something like the Oreo cookie. Sometimes the non-brand name cookies are worth looking through. There might be something resembling like what I've mentioned.

The other thing I thought of was Teddy Grahams - I know those come in chocolate and would probably work if you grind them up in the food processor (and almost every store carries them I think).

Worst case scenario, buy a pre-made crust.
