I have decided gail to go purchase some eye droppers from my local drug store. I have some expensive liquid colours, and WAY too much comes out when i want to use it. Also when mixing my lustre dust, every darn time I get too much alcohol in my dish, and I waste my dust cause I end up not using it all, or because there is too much alcohol/liquid, I have to add more dust....   GRrrrrr

By using a eye dropper I can control the amount I need.

And speaking of food colouring, I have NEVER, ever seen Wilton's or any other brand of white white here. Perhaps some of the high end decorating shops sell it. It is not available here at Michael's, or the 2 large decorating warehouses I shop at???? Curious.

good idea ! i know about that , , i got me some of the little jars at acmoore like the ones the dust come in from ck - and put my left over in them , it drys , but than i just add a few drops of vodka when i need it again

Quite frankly I am going to go out of my way never to buy Wilton again, as I had a terrible experience with there customer service as some of there items that I got were faulty and there was nothing that they were prepared to do for me, and the one who emailed was snooty about it. 

I have a question if the icing that we make is white why would you need white food colouring?

will they work with the wilton gel's ? JUNE , LET ME KNOW ! i know Hope ! i go rite to there main site to CS and deal with them , , its been working out for me , but i must say , a lot of wilton idea's are low end products , and i always have a problum with some thing of theres , now CK is good stuff

This is one of the reasons I switched to Americolor.  So much easier & less messy!

yes americolor is good, also spectrum is good , they never leak ! and just as good as americolor , just little less pricey , i have about 50 of them all colors now ,have about 35 wiltons , and a 12 pk of americolor , and i use them all , mix and macth , all the time ,and have dz powder colors ,
