Just Want to AsK
I joined the group that is in my area, and ask to do this there so it could be in person, but no one is responsing (not allot of stuff is going on over there). I have noticed in some areas of the country the cakers and decorators seem to be a little more organized and have things like Cake Clubs. I would love to be in one of those, but I don't hear to much of that in my area, and it could just be that I don't know about it. I love this site and love the community we have here.
I was thinking we could have a Cake Club online. Once or twice a month we could all make a certain reciepe, or try a new technique and we can share what we did. We can share little pointers about things, share what we liked or didn't like. We already do that with things we do on our own, but this can be something we do together. We can post the pictures and comment on each others work.
It is just a thought, we can make it a group page and share on there. It is just a thought and maybe something that could be real fun to do...Instead of always doing stuff we have to do for other, it would be for ourselves and we can have fun with it and learn a few new things...
Whatever you guys decide will be okay.....

Okay.... Guys I have been so busy we are going on vacation and I have not got to set up the group.... I will try and do it when I have some down time this week. Think of what you guys want to do .... Let's shot for the first week in August to do our first cake. How does this sound ?

I think this sounds like a good idea...Not much around here either for cakers...i think this would be good for all of us to do the same projects together at the same time and be able to learn from everyones different takes on them.

Hello all - I think this idea would be great. I know sometimes that I get into a "slump" and look for a new idea...I believe this would motivate me.
Can I suggest that we do it over a period of a week to allow for schedules and time differences and do it on the first and third weeks of each month? Just a thought.

Okay, I haven't had anytime to get online and do much.... Visiting with my family has been the best!
I will try and start up a group on Monday when I get back to work and my regular routine. Hope everyone is doing great..... Any import on what we should do for our first CWB Cake Club project???

Hey guys I haven't forgotten about this.... I just got back from my vacation and have been busy..... My boss is going out of town tomorrow, so I am going to try and set up the group then. Any one have an idea on our first project? I would love to have a reciepe for us to do and a decorative theme or technique to do. I am a little stumped with this part. Can someone suggest something??? PLEASE!!!!!!

Thanks! I found it "CWB Cake Club" this will be a lot of fun!!!!
I plan on learning a lot too by being a member of this group as well.
