Hi Jennifer, thanks for your nice comments about my figures, I too am quite new to cake decorating, I have been doing it for just over a year now. As for tips, not sure really, I just have a look around the websites, and lots of books I have and then try to interupt them into my own style! doesn't always works, but comes right sometimes! it just takes a bit of practice, if I don't get it right the first time I just squash the sugarpaste up and start again! ....... one good tip I can give you is, look on youtube for a lady called "aine2" her name is Lorraine Mckay and she is a Scottish sugarcraft artist. She has lots of free tutorials on there, she really is very talanted. and a great teacher! Look her up. Let me know what you think.

Speak soon, take care

Hi Jennifer Thank you for the comments. The rolled roses are so simple to make I love doing them. I cut my fondant into 1 inch by six inch strips and just start rolling. If you buy Wiltons fondant there is a guide on how to make them. My other roses are from a five rose petal cutter. Edna has a wonderful tutorial on making roses. She is so aswesome I've learned a lot from her.
