Rules Reminder - Naughty or Illegal Drug Related Cakes

Just a friendly reminder regarding naughty cake and drug related cake pictures.  We've seen some lately and just wanted to bring your attention to the rules regarding pictures.

Please do not post x-rated or drug related cakes (medical cakes are acceptable), as the photos can be seen by anyone.

We want to encourage young decorators. Inappropriate pictures will be removed and you will be notified.

Thanks for your cooperation!

Again, wanted to say sorry for those of you who saw something you found inappropriate, especially on third party sites-I certainly did not do that one.Since I was unable to find these rules until today I did not know.Kind of thought since I put them in a seperate album they would not appear on everyone's pages-like cake central does-but this was my fault and should have checked first. But they did catch it, remove it, and i removed the entire album and now know. It would be nice, whoever operate the IT portion of the site, if they could add a new tab/link aong the top where the forums, classifieds, etc are that state these important rules. Just a thought. Again sorry to anyone who was offended.

I have thought the same thing, Tiffany. It would be better to have those rules right on the front page-all the time. Theresa Happe has been working on the site as of late, but I don't know for sure if that is one of the things she is working on. Tiffany, it's over and done with. You are not the first one to have posted and you won't be the last one. Go about the day care free and know that it has been taken care of, and that in the long run, it'll benefits a lot of people because they will see these rules on the front page-at least for today, anyway.
Please, do not beat yourself up over this and just enjoy the rest of the day. =O) (this too shall pass.....it really will)   Hugs, Linda

thanks! hope they get it figured out. Im sure it would help you all out if they can get that link on the main page

Just a reminder again, everyone. No naughty cakes allowed on Cakes We Bake. This site is open for all age brackets and there is no filter to screen out naughty photos. We do have very young members on this site as well as adults. Please be respectful of others. Thank you! =O)

A  note to members:

Had to remove a naughty  photo "housewife cake" this morning.  Was X-rated.  Please see above rules posted by Deah.

This is a site seen by many, many age groups, including children. Be aware when posting your cake.

Thank you

What are your/everyones thoughts on posting naught cake images on your own personal websites? I haven't loaded any pics of the naught cakes I have done, but have considered adding them...but when in doubt choose option C, which is my mind is don't do it at all

I'm not sure if someone visitng my site would appreciate looking at wedding cakes and next thing bam a "naughty" cake appears in the same pic

Carlette - My vote is NOT to add them to your personal website.  Somewhere along the line you'll forget that it's there, and a boss, a young cousin/sister/niece/nephew will be so excited to look at all the yummy treats, and will be hit with this image... then, there's a LOT of explaining to do, not to mention the uncomfortable embarassment that is sure to follow.

thanks for the feedback Holly. that's what I was thinking.....

I have only ever done 2 "naughty" cakes. And they were pretty tame. But I printed out a pic the old fashioned way using my home printer and kodak picture paper. This way if anyone wants to see it, I have a hard copy.  I won't even scan & send these photos by email, cause you never know where in cyber space they could end up.

Hi everyone...this is just a friendly reminder about posting naughty cakes on this site. Remember that we have no filters on here and that we have young viewers as well as young upcoming decorators. Let's set a good example for our youth by honoring the rules set by the administrator of this site. Thank you! =O)

Just another reminder members, no naughty cakes allowed. If you will go to the top of the CWB title page, you will find a list of subjects to explore and if you will click onto the FAQ (which is the last one on the list) it will have the rules and an explanation concerning naughty cakes being posted on CWB.

Thank you everyone!

Linda
