Tampa has not seen the likes of Giovanna’s artistic talent when it comes to cake decorating. As a recent graduate of The International Culinary Schools at the Art Institutes in Tampa, specializing in the Baking and Pastry program, she received constant recognition for the superior quality of her work as she was taught by the crème de la crème in the Tampa Bay area.
Giovanna’s artistic abilities were cultivated from her childhood in Peru by her father, an artist and glass blower, as well as by her mother a “natural” in the kitchen. She pursued her passion for art at the Institute of Published Art in Lima, Peru.
In 2000, Giovanna came to the United States to achieve the Great American Dream for her family and her daughter, Brenda. With her artistic background, she developed a passion for sugar art and cake decorating.
Shortly after her arrival, Giovanna began her career in cake decorating and has become known more as an “artist” than a “cake decorator.”
As her career flourished, the demand for her work increased and so grew a need for her talent to be shared with others. Giovanna began teaching private classes revealing her unique detailing techniques in sugar flowers, chocolate art and pastries.
There is no limit to what Giovanna can do, ask and she will meet the task with amazing results.
