Those roses were gumpaste, and believe it or not, it was very first time working with gumpaste, and my very first try at the roses. I was pleasantly suprised.
I have an idea for my granddaughter's next cake, but it will take more skill so I may pratice a little. I need to make something similar to a stargazer or tiger lily. Practice makes perfect, right?
