Cake Decorating Community - Cakes We Bake

I recently made my first 3 tiered cake for my daughter's birthday.  After removing the dowels I did not know what to do about the holes left by them.  Do you just cut around the holes as best as you can?  Thanks so much for suggestions.

When slicing the cake just ignore that the holes are there.  Unless, of course, you are using columns instead of dowels, then you will need to adjust your serving size a bit.  Nobody cares if their cake has a dowel hole in it.

LOL, theres nothing you can do about the holes. Yep, just ignore and cut the best way you can.
