Thanks, Bonnie!  They are very easy to make, just time consuming.

They look good and I have seen so many neat things you can do with the wafer paper.  Sometime soon I will have to give it a try.

I have to admit, these were easier to make and a lot faster than gum paste.  I just love the realism achievable with gum paste.  Wafer paper flowers have their own charm, no doubt about it.

Very pretty - I do think I like your gumpaste flowers better. I have wanted to try rice paper. Sounds frustrating!

Thank you, Katy!  I chose this flower because it appeared to me to be the most wafer paper friendly.

The worse thing about making these is that I had to cut the circles by hand...no handy dandy little tool like the other ladies.  It wasn't very hard, just took a while to make.

I have to say with out trying this as of yet ,, I am with you KATY !!!, they look beautiful and the centers are right on , it looks like lots of work , and if the first time I try it like Katy it don't work even a little bit  , I am dunnnnnn!!! lol !thanks Sandra &  Katy for the heads up ,,lol , who knows I have 100 SHEETS OF IT ! & DONT DO PRINT ON CAKES , its like my Cricket ! I never use that !! have all the icing sheets and about 15 cartridges, and not into it at all !! with that said ! wondering if that could be used for rice paper !

Sandra - I am almost lost for words (but not quite!).  These are amazing!  The one in the middle is particularly good imo.  Looks a lot like the real thing to me.  Have to admit, this method really doesn't appeal to me either.  I did buy some wafer paper, started to try to work with it and thought 'nope, we are not going to get along at all' so gave up almost immediately!
