aw cool , awesome , ! TFS , they sounds yummy !
Thanks Gail. They were really tasty - I love that kind of thing and they were all chewy and yummy. For the sticks, I just rolled the cookie dough into balls, pushed the stick into the ball, then put them on the baking tray and flattened them slightly with the palm of my hand. Then cooked them with the sticks in. The sticks stayed in really firmly, even though the cookies were quite big and heavy.
real nice idea , how did you keep them on the sticks ?
cool pops . love the bloody ones , they look yummy to
We had our first, the little ones, at 6pm. We always have sandwiches for supper, cause you can't eat anything hot, it gets cold when you have to answer the door every 5 min.
I'm afraid Mick stays well out of it. Says I'm much better at it than he would be. Fortunately we don't eat dinner till around 8.00pm and they've all finished by then. But, darn, 5.00pm is a bit early isn't it?
George was really good giving out treats too. He made remarks about their costumes and chatted with the parents. Those darn kids started coming so early, though, that we had to literally shove our dinner down our throats to get dinner out of the way! They started at 5:00pm!
One year, my hubby made a grocery run for candy at about 7pm while I was still giving out. We still ran out. Crazy... He was SOooo into it this year. I had a screaming push button jack o latern on our front door, & he pushed it when the children arrived & when they left. SOoooo funny. :0)
heehee good one Linda but I know how you feel. One year it was crazy and I ran out of candy too. So I started handing out the granola bars that I had on hand for my daughters snacks. Needlessly to say the next day had to go out to buy more.
hahahahahahaha!!!!!!!!! George is so funny, I love him.
