Probably not as firm as fudge Gail, but it does have  a nice taste imo.  Perhaps a little less glycerine so it was firmer might taste fudge like.

It is Gail, yes.  It's just icing sugar and water, with plenty of glycerine in it to make it stay soft, but crust over.  It's very yummy.  I think the usual recipe calls for corn syrup or golden syrup, but I use glycerine instead.  You can add flavours and colour as desired.
