We didn't get many either June - so the family are enjoying the benefits lol!

Don't think I'll bother again - just get a tin of sweeties in, just in case.  Then I'll eat them if we don't get any haha!

Cute Katy....
My heart most definitely wasn't into Halloween baking this year. Had no interest in making cupcakes/cookies. I was so glad we were going to be away on va ca..... didn't have to bother. As it turned out, it poured buckets and we had hardly any trick or treaters.

Goreti - I get like that sometimes too.  Just want bake tasty stuff, but can't be dealing with all the fancy decorations.

Betty - the butterscotch sponge is SO tasty.  Really moist and buttery.  So easy peasy too.  I use either a standard Victoria Sponge recipe from scratch or a Betty Crocker Vanilla cake mix and add a packet of butterscotch pudding mix.  Haven't tasted the strawberry sponge yet - I suspect I may not like it much as, with the strawberry butter icing too, it smells quite strong and rather sickly.

Your flavors sound good. No cake today for me either and I never get "trick or treaters" where i live, to far out in the country. Good thing about that is... I don't have to buy candy. :)
