Too bad it looks so pretty.  Now I'm getting nervous.  I have a cake to cover in fondant tomorrow that is higher than I normally do.  It's for a baby shower so I hope I don't have my first stacked cake disaster.

Might have worked if you had thoroughly chilled your cake before and after crumb coating Gail?

the fondant is thin ! the cake is very lite ! used only 2 eggs , should have used 3 , I wanted to see the difference with 2 eggs , !! know since the cake is so light and spongy, and its 3 layers , with out supports , it flopped ; )) , so I said 2 M S  ,,, HUMM NOT GOING TO GO and do any more details on this just going to learn from it !, so the bottom was not finished nor the top ! slapped some flowers on it , lol

yup ! and no supports ! , I guess I have another lesson learned ! wich is kind of good , this was a play with cake to see how and what I want to do with my airbrush , so self teaching is working for me , I know what not to do and how to do for my nx cake !

oh shame Gail!  Weight of the fondant?  Soft filling?

What a shame because the cake is beautiful....I should say, is STILL beautiful.  Does this happen because there is a lot of frosting and/or filling between the layers?
