Yes, Mia, it is a powder that you mix with sugar and water to make a flavored drink.  Comes in a lot of flavors.  Let me know if I need to send you a box of Kook Aid :o)

maybe I should have said the easy kool aid , pink lemon aid cake !!, there are so many flavors of kool aid , I would guess this would be good for children's cupcakes to !or cakes ,

Wow ladies!! You got me so intrigued to try that recipe. I'm not such a lemon fanatic, but it sounds good... The thing is that I'll have to go around for supplies that are available in my market... Kool Aid is nonexistent here, but I gathered it's this powder which is mixed with water to make juice. I can try substitutes though I'm not sure it'll have the same result.

Gali, I don't think you actually posted the recipe....just told us you added a package of Instant Lemon Pudding and two packs of Pink Lemonade Kool Aid to your white cake recipe and two packs of Pink Lemonade Kool Aid to your butter cream.  Because we are lemon fanatics, I added the juice and zest from one lemon to the batter, as well.  And, HA! HA!, it is MY turn to lick my fingers and lips!  Beats the heck out of cake dummies.

Looks and sounds scrumptious. Quick swirls of bc..so pretty and fast...
Gail: Was this the recipe I gave you? Funny, recipe was on CWB as a blog post...still says it's there in my page....but can't find the recipe anywhere here on the site...very strange....
