Looks like I need to get a mold for the face since can't do it freehand. Poor little thing is not too pretty.

Found it! Took a while as I watched it so long ago - this is the link to Part 1. I imagine Part 2 will prompt automatically at the end of it
yup , your soo rite June , iv learned so much just practice , and than even after all that I still mess up . but give it my best , and my style , so as I said , I love the little face she made , its fine ! and painting that tiny is so very hard , but !! she did it ! ;)x
Like anything we do, specially something as complex as flower making & modeling, it is practice, practice, practice. The gumpaste artisit I went to see can do her models in no time flat. But she has been doing them for over 35 yrs. Like riding a bicycle, we didn't go around the block the 1st time we got on.
Goreti
I took a ball and pinched the center for the nose. Used the ball tool to indent the eye sockets, then slit for the mouth and then just started poking, pushing, smoothing and pulling, squeezing, till I got the shape I thought was ok. It's to hard to paint them little face's : (( but she is pretty. xx You did an awesome job ,
WOW YOU DID IT , BEAUTIFUL ! ITS THE HARDEST ONE IN THE BOOK I THINK , LOL
That would be great Katy.
You know we all have an idea how something should "look" . But there is no right way or wrong way, just our own personal way/style. You're to hard on yourself G. She is so very pretty.
:o)
I don't think she's that bad at all Goreti - better than my fairy lol! There is a good tute somewhere on youtube by a young girl who makes awesome faces freehand. I'll see if I can find it.
she is lovely, sometimes we are just to critical of ourselves. I have seen me make something take pictures, decide I don't like it start again or change slightly & then months later see the pictures again and wonder why
She is a beauty!
Love it! I am working on a ballerina tonight.I can only hope mine looks as good.
