Cake Decorating Community - Cakes We Bake

Getting ready for my mother-in-law's 90th birthday next month. Flowers were done without cutters so it took a little bit longer. Only used cutters for the rose leaves. Used for edible varnish light corn syrup diluted with vodka.

Thank you all for your lovely comments.  June, yes this is from one of Alan Dunn's books.  Anne, as far as the lily I didn't follow the directions in the book.  I googled for images of the flowers and believe it or not I rolled it on and cut free hand with an exacto knife. Didn't even make a template for it. What can I say?  I like a challenge. lol

Got it Linda, thanks.  How well you know me, even without having ever met.....

So funny and shared with my grandson.

Mick says it reminded him of when he had to ask 11 year old Daisy to sort his mobile phone out!

It reminded me of when we got our first computer.  Had to call my daughter a couple of times but got sick of the rolling eyes.  So I decided to just play around until I figured it out.  Now I just googled and get the instructions.  I've even managed to help out my daughter on occasion.  So sweet.
