Third tier of Scarlet Macaws Cake. First time to paint on fondant. It is shiny because it is still wet and not as bright as it appears in photo. Will dust lightly with cornstarch when dry to enhance the aged appearance.

Gali, you are going to make me cry.  You guys on this site are the most supportive I've experienced in my life and I feel so humbled by all of your talents.  I am fortunate to have been born with a measure of artistic ability and a good sense of design, so thank goodness someone invented fondant because I cannot pipe worth a hoot!

OH, you are right!  We need a 'cake' person badly.  They may not know all the little nuances that make this entry the winner.  Hmmm...Goreti, you got time to donate, to be a judge? lol
