Stunning flower!
Thank you Dina.
You have a great talent for making flowers. I love all your flowers.
I know just what you mean about buying every cutter in sight! I just treated myself to a bargain offer that was on Amazon - a set of 30 piece cutters, plunger, veiners (PME) for £12 plus postage. Worked out to about 50p a piece. I just couldn't resist it - I'm like a kid in a sweet shop with this stuff!
Katy, it is but it's pretty easy. Flowers that you have to wire each petal and then put it together, I find a little harder. I probably found it easier too because I actually used cutters. I usually make a template on cardboard and then use an exacto knife to cut them. Takes much longer but I can't justify buying all kinds of cutters for a hobby that I don't make any money on.
Thanks for the tutorial link Goreti. Wow, what a lot of work for one flower!
Thanks Goreti =)
Thank you Rima, Ayu & Emi for the lovely comments. Ayu, for the first couple of rows I used the 5 petal cutters but then cut them into individual petals. For the outer layers I used a heart cookie cutters that I manipulated into a petal shape and the last 2 rows I used an oval cutter. I used this tutorial http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_1nIACibXKg. This is part 1 of the tutorial. Although it has a lot of petals, it is pretty easy to do.
Beautiful!!And lovely color too!
beautiful.....which cutter did you use for this flower?
