this was beautiful , when Goreti first started doing flowers ,now she knocked her work right out of her park , her work on flowers is so neat clean and perfect , , I always love seeing what she comes up with nx , her flowers look real now . !

This is lovely, dummy!  You are just a perfectionist (and it takes one to know one, so I know of that which I speak)!

Goreti, when I make them, they never meet the standard I am trying for, and it's not fun. It's a chore. So, I think I try to over compensate by doing what I do like to do as good as I can. I suppose I can make them okay, but it is like going to the dentist to have to make them...a dread and a chore that just has to be done. Not something that I look forward to. I think everyone has their own area where they excel in, like you do in flowers. I'm pretty content to sit back and just admire those who have that 'gift' and admire what they create. You just started making flowers not that long ago, Goreti, so I don't expect for them to be completely 'polished' as you say. But given a few more months and they will be. Just the fact that you are not using any cutters for your petals blows me away! Now that is dedication to your craft!

Don't get me wrong ladies.  I am happy with the ones I have done.  However, I have seen others whose work is much more polished.  I really admire their work & their ability and I know I will never be in their league.  In the meantime, I do it for fun and Linda I bet you are being too hard on yourself.  I bet you can make awesome flowers judging by the rest of your work.

Thanks Katy.  I'm not that great at it but I do love to try making them.  I take it as a challenge.

Looks pretty sacred to me Goreti.  A beautiful piece of work.  I really envy you guys that can do this.
