Thanks June & Sandra. Sandra, you really made me laugh with your comment about the veiner. The rose was done by placing a piece of gumpaste inside a grocery store produce bag. It does not stick to the gumpaste and leaves the ridges on the petals making it look like veining.

This rose is beautiful, Goreti. I can't believe it is made of sugar! You must have the perfect veiner, too, because it looks completely believable as the real thing. Your chocolate design is the perfect back drop for the rose.
