I first used petal dust mixed with vodka, to do the edges of the petals on the top 2 flowers, then I used Wilton spray colors for the yellow daffodil, and the large pink fantasy rose/carnation, whatever! lol

big is good .. they came out beautiful ..
Hi everyone! Thanks for stopping by. These were my first attempts at 'paper', as Sandra called it. June, you had given me a start a while back, but I never followed up on it. Then I was on youtube the other night, and somehow got hooked up with a Martha Stewart one, and followed with another, & another! They were all by other people, she was just , I guess you would say, sponsoring them? Any way, that is where I got most of the tutorials, and templates. Also got some templates from Liz Merrick. I really didn't think I would like it, but it was fun. I was doing it as they were, kept putting them on pause until I could catch up. It seemed work pretty well that way. The only thing, so far, is that they ALL turned out so BIG! Look at how small the placemat looks under these few flowers! lol
they are all so pretty
It is incredible what the color did for these, just brought them to life. Don't see a thing wrong with the color on your daffodil, it's beautiful. Love the soft, variegated pink on the carnation, too. You are pretty darned good at paper, Bonnie!
Looks pretty.
Put together, they all look nice
Thanks Goreti! The color helps a lot! But the orange, that was supposed to be yellow, on the edges needs help! lol My battery went dead before I could get a pic of the big momma! Not even sure if it would have a name! It reminds me of a magnolia, and they often have a pink tint to the back of the petals? I think! lol
Even lovelier with the color.
