we are all as good as we could be , i just see so many beautiful works, i realy wish i could do , but i realy cant , my art was always theatrical ,and drama , , so i guess thats what my cakes will be , so i am very happy and thrilled to see all the beautiful styles , i love them

I agree with what everyone said Gail. You have your own "style", as do we all. I haven't even attempted to pipe a whole cake like this. Like Sandy said in her post, I too wish I had more talent in some areas. Maybe I will someday, & maybe I won't. I am no spring chicken & have arthritis in my hands, so I am very grateful for what I can do.  I can't compare myself to you, or Linda, Sandra, Shirley...& more, cause they are them and I an me. I can just be the best me decorator I can be.

Great looking Gail. I too wish I had more talent then I do right now. I see all these great looking cakes on here and long to be able to do something like them. Someday I hope. Don't give up, they say it takes practice, and that's what I am doing today practicing making hydrangeas, I was doing good until I went to make the leaves and realized that the impression mat that I need I had taken to work to do displays there and forgot to bring it home, now have to wait til thursday to bring it home, My work wants me to make a few displays for the store to promote cake decorating. They are suppling everything and I get more practice time in which is great.
