My Birthday Cake
For the first time, I decided to make a birthday cake for myself. Let's just say it was not my biggest success. Kitchen was way to warm. Not a good idea to try the upside method of trimming the fondant to get a crisp top & neat bottom. I made a real mess of it and had to work so hard to get it to look decent. Not the best work but it is what it is.

The only flats that I have are some summer sandals. Everything else has a little heel. Check out my sneakers

Ha Ha ladies...I gave up super high heels years ago. Wearing nursing shoes every day for years, feet got accustomed to flat & comfort. Just couldn't handle the height anymore....or the uncomfortableness. But I'm not in orthopaedic shoes yet!!!

No gray hair here because there is a miracle that happens about every 5 wks. Hair becomes a very vibrant color. lol

Gray hair and wrinkles I expected and reluctantly accept, but giving up the four inch heels is the hardest of all! I would love to wear some of the crazy new shoes with platform soles, but I would look like an old fool and probably feel a lot worse! Happy birthday, Goreti!

Wow Bonnie, that is A LOT. Do you have anything left? lol I've had to give away some of my precious shoes. I can't do the kind of heels that I used to. Gave my favorite boots to my daughter since she was always trying to "borrow" them anyway. Still love my heels but can't be too high.

Happy Belated Birthday 'G'! I am always a day late, and a dollar short! So this is what you did with her/you! And so many purses & shoes too!
I just gave to the Purple Heart for the military, 24 big bags of clothes, dresses, suits, pants, etc..., all almost new, but no longer fitting me, and 4 large boxes of shoes, about 30 pair of sandals, shoes, boots, etc..., also in good, to new, condition. I put the shoes in boxes so they would not get mashed & ruined. And all the clothes were on hangers.

my baby brothers birthday is 2day. but he has not spoken to me since my mom past away. I guess he was wanting something that she didn't have. $$
