I really wanted to fall in love with this medium since everyone says it is so easy but I really prefer gumpaste. For some reason, it is no easy for me. I think it is because I want to make them realistic. Well anyway here is my latest experiment.

This flower is so pretty!  Now it is getting really close to the real thing.  I do believe that this is the most realistic wafer paper flower that I have yet seen.   Way to go Goreti!

Well I used 3 mediums Gail...food colouring + alcohol....evaporates too fast, and dried out the paper....food colouring and lemon extract... It wasn't bad......food colouring and coconut oil...like this one the best. I found that the coconut oil gave more subtle changes in colour. Seemed to react better to the paper. But everyone has to discover what works best for them.
